It’s been a a period of work and pleasure as the Meaningful Life International Team embarked on a deeply impactful experience of service, compassion, and transformation.
The Ghana Missions 2025, led by Mr. Grant Perryman, our U.S. Executive Director, and our partners from Friends of Africa Organization, led by Rev. Curtis Barber touched many lives and brought hope to communities across Ghana.
Each story below isn’t just about what the team did but rather the lives touched and the hope restored.
Reaching Hearts at Safe Them Young Orphanage
At Safe Them Young Orphanage, we met bright-eyed children whose lives are filled with courage despite their challenges.
Through fellowship, laughter, and prayer, the children not only felt love but also experienced support for their daily needs through donations from our team.
After the team had finished, one of the children shared, “I feel seen and loved today,” amidst laughter.
This is a simple reminder that a small act of care can spark immense hope.
Mentorship and Leadership Development
In keeping with our vision of raising the next generation of godly leaders, the team visited Dawhenya Basic School and Akwamuman Senior High School as part of our Leadership and Mentorship Program.
We focused on equipping students with practical life skills and leadership values.
At Akwamuman SHS, students learned the importance of presentation, discipline, and purpose through our “Dressing for Success” session.
We also donated a keyboard for the school’s worship ministry, ensuring students have the tools to develop their talents.
One student told the team, “Now I believe I can stand out not just in class, but in life,” showing that mentorship goes beyond words. It plants seeds of confidence and vision.
Touching Lives Through Healthcare
The mission team visited Doron Medical Center in Afienya to interact with the staff, donated essential medical supplies, and deliver training sessions on mental health and holistic wellness.
Staff received tokens of appreciation, reminding them that their dedication truly matters.
In Dunyokope, Volta Region, dozens of residents received free medical consultations, medications, and health education, bringing relief to families who might otherwise go without care.
One mother said, “Today, my child can sleep well without coughing or sneezing”.
Moments like this show that compassion can ripple through entire communities.
The team also spent time with local children, filling the day with joy and laughter.
Clean Water for Agbodzakope Community
Thanks to our partnership with Friends of Africa, the Agbodzakope Community now has access to clean, safe drinking water for the first time.
For families who once walked miles for water, the new borehole represents not just convenience, but hope, health, and renewed dignity.
It is also a testament to what partnership and faith can achieve together.
Celebrating a Heart of Generosity
This month, we also celebrated the birthday of Mr. Kwame Macafui, whose generous sponsorship made possible both a borehole project and a free medical outreach for the people of Dzigokpe Community.
His kindness and compassion continue to echo through the lives of those whose burden he has lifted. On this special occasion, we say:
“Happy Birthday, Mr. Macafui! Your life is a blessing and your impact immeasurable.”
We thank God for your heart for service and your commitment to making life meaningful for others.
One resident shared, “Mr. Macafui gave us more than water and medicine, he gave us hope.”
On his birthday, we celebrate his life and the tangible impact of his compassion.

We were honored to have a presentation for Mr. Grant Perryman with a Special Citation at Akwamuman SHS, in recognition of his inspirational leadership and unwavering dedication to transforming lives across Ghana.
