The Corporate Theme for the Year 2024

We started the year with a seven day prayers and fasting under the theme “SEND ME” with John 20:21 as the scriptural reference to prepare ourselves for the task ahead. The staff of Meaningful Life International met every day to fellowship and seek the face of God.

As a people of faith, we were very optimistic of a successful year despite the glaring challenges of dwindling donor support. As organization that relies heavily on donor support to implement our activities, we continued to experience setbacks in our cash inflows which adversely affected our projections for the year under review.  We could not implement many of the activities as planned. However, the Lord has been faithful and to us and we made some gains to the glory of God.  We are eternally grateful to God and to our faithful partners who stood firmly with us in the mist of the tough times.

Access to clean water still remains a huge challenge in most of the rural communities in Ghana. Many of these communities drink from unclean sources and in most cases, competing with animals from the same source. The situation becomes even dire when some of these water sources dry up during the drought season. We have the calling and passion to respond to these challenges by providing them with clean and reliable source of water but are often constraint by limited financial resources.

During the year under review, we drilled 10 boreholes in Kpetraza, Kpotavi, Aboabo—Okoto, Wudokpo, Dosiakorpe, Kpelikorpe, Nchensie, Amenamu, Tuunaayili and Kukoonaayili. There is currently one more borehole project under construction at Agbodzakope in the Akatsi South District

In partnership with the Doron Medical Center and our summer teams, we were able to embark on five (5) major medical outreaches in some deprived communities.  These communities are; Kpotavi, Agbodzakope, Amangoase, Noanyikpo and Akwamufie.. Approximately more than 1000 people benefited from the medical outreaches.

Meaningful Life International continues to reach out to many Communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; preaching salvation and preparing souls for the second Coming of our Lord Jesus. Our Jesus Film Show outreaches have laid the foundation for Church planting in some of these communities.

During the year under review, we partnered with the Harvest Mission Chapel A/G to organize two film shows around Tema community 11. We also partnered with campus students to embark on massive door to door evangelism in community 11 and its environs. We distributed thousands of gospel tracts and about 55 souls were won for the Lord. Many people rededicated their lives to Christ!

Church planting is very crucial to the vision of MLI. We appreciate the important role a decent place of worship does in the growth process of new believers.  In partnership with the Friends of Africa Organization, we planted a church at Agbodzakope community in the Akatsi South District of the Volta region.

Planting churches to bring hope, faith, and community to new areas.
Planting churches to create spiritual havens for communities
Planting churches that inspire growth, discipleship, and transformation.
Expanding God’s Kingdom by reaching hearts and building communities.
Growing communities anchored in Christ’s love and truth.

MLI works hard to combine our humanitarian aid-driven projects (the Legacy Wells etc) with an empowerment component that seeks to stifle dependency and promote pure development. So aside going into the communities to drill boreholes, the organization also makes sure the community members are well trained on how to properly care for and maintain the boreholes which includes the importance of community ownership, basic hygiene and accountability.

This year, we embarked on community education programs in six (6) communities; Kpetraza, Kpotavi, Aboabo—Okoto, Wudokpo, Dosiakorpe and Kpelikorpe

This year’s special Annual Christmas outreach (SACO) was held in Angornya, a deprived fishing community near Ada in the Ada East District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. On 25th of December, a Christmas party was organized for the entire community. We served food, drinks, snacks, candies and water to about 600 people. We also distributed used clothing and foot wear to the people. The widows and pastors were not left out. About 30 widows received gift packs.

With the sponsorship of some of our cherished ministry partners, we have finally purchased our own drilling rig to help with our operations. This is a quantum leap in the life of the organization. We want to express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Randy Fiorini and Dr. Sam Huddleston who spearheaded the fundraising campaign to realize this noble vision.
